my piece is Iglesia de Ciurana by Joan Miro
Originally i chose this piece for its abstract nature and the beautiful use of color. Then the more I read about Miro the more i came to understanding his mind set. I admire the way he sees the world. He appreciates everything for what it is. Most people miss, on a day to day basis, the beauty of the world around them. They are so consumed with their lives that they never really see how Amazing the world is.
Ive come to realize this the past couple of years and i have been trying my hardest to not take all that is around me for granted.
i feel that Miro shares this feeling with me and that gives me a whole other respect for him as a person along with his beautiful paintings.

I love. . .
Joanna Allen
her mo
no prints are all incredibly whimsical and earthy. Many of them also have a sort of child like feel to them and it helps to feel more connected to her and her work. In my etchings I like to use very fine details so i can really appreciate all the hard work that certainly
went into these prints.
Cleo Wilkins
Wilkins use of line is beautiful and i feel like all of her work has so much fueling it. It seems a bit on the feminist side but i enjoy that aspect of it. All of her images are really raw in the sense that these girls have nothing to hide. They let it all hang out they are badass worrier women.
Frank Stella
These images are just crazy. His use of color is fabulous. I love the movement and that knot-in-your-stomach feeling that his work gives off.
